Staff Additions
Samuel Grossi & Sons is proud to announce that it has recently added to its staff of project managers. Drew McElhinney brings years of experience in the steel industry to the firm. He will work closely with Ed Thompson and Walter Cantley to oversee every detail of a project from detailing through fabrication and erection completion. New Production and Fabrication Equipment
Samuel Grossi & Sons is pleased to announce the installation of new production equipment at the plant in Bensalem, PA. With the recent addition of 30,000 new square feet, or a 33% increase in space, a full range of fabrication equipment is now in place. Check out the equipment page for a full list of fabrication equipment. In the near future, the fabrication space will expand by an additional 90,000 square feet.
Samuel Grossi & Sons is additionally pleased to announce the purchase of a new tower crane for the jobsite. This new crane will expand the erection capacity of the firm enormously. Please see the equipment page for a full list of erection equipment.

Engineers' Club of Philadelphia Visit
On Tuesday, October 26, 1999, the Engineers' Club of Philadelphia visited the steel fabrication plant of Samuel Grossi & Sons as part of their fall 1999 Engineering Tours of the Delaware Valley. These annual site visits are an effort by the Club to encourage attendees to become more well-informed members of the Engineering Community.
The tours started at 8:00 AM with a complimentary breakfast, followed by a tour of the steel fabrication and detailing shop. Approximately 50 members of the Engineers' Club of Philadelphia attended, including architects and engineers in the Metropolitan Philadelphia area. The site visit lasted until noon.
